Strava is kinda like Facebook for the athletically inclined. You can keep track of the runs/bikes/swims that your friends are doing. Training or racing either goes!
We are even doing a bike ride in August that has a jersey for the fastest segments and I’m pretty sure they use strava to track that! Every activity you do there are “segments” that put you against others there that day!
My easy ride did not yield any winning segments! 😢
You can also utilize it to stalk your best running friends!
On those mornings they tell you they don’t/can’t join you for an easy 3 and then do their own 4 🤯 (she will never live this down 😂🤣)
So if you are not on strava and are an avid runner/biker/swimmer you need to be on strava and competing with everyone! Or just enjoying seeing what everyone else is up to!
