End of week 3

Ok, I totally missed this post yesterday! I don’t know where the weekend went or why it is Monday already! Last week I did much better at scheduling. Not great! I still missed 2 workouts but it was one of each so I don’t feel AS bad!

The hubs and I have also been working on projects to try and keep ourselves sane! I’ve been picking one-two areas of the house each week to try and keep up with! Last week was the kitchen. Jointly, we have decided that dishes are a must! So, our goal has been over the last 3 weeks to not let dishes sit in the sink! So far, so good!

My project this week is the bathroom and the office! I want to get them in order cause well, bathroom and I need some clarity in my home office! These little tasks have really helped make sticking to my training easier. That way I’m not as distracted.

Last Wednesday, I even went as far as to have groceries delivered to the house so I didn’t FEEL like I had to go after work and “skip” my workout. I also scheduled purple carrot deliveries to start next week. This way, I only have to plan a certain number of meals and I’m guaranteed to have at least 3 healthy, plant-based meals!

Any other tips or tricks out there from veteran triathletes?

  1. Batch cooking! I like to make a big double bath of something and freeze in individual portions. I just did a really good meatball soup and eggplant parm, for example.
