Sometimes when you are helping your husband become an Ironman you forget that you have training of your own. Last week work sent me to Tampa which means I decided that meant I didn’t have to actually train and then I came back and got a bit of a cold. Basically, I was lazy last week.
Today I decided to have some me time. I went for a 3 mile run with a brand new playlist and without a watch. I know that without the watch I push myself harder and I really wanted a good hard run. I also went and got a haircut. I don’t know what it is about a haircut but I feel like it makes everything better.
Now after making a taco dinner (yay Cinco de Mayo) with my new favorite faux meat “Beyond Meat”If you haven’t tried this yet stop what you are doing, go to Whole Foods, and pick it up! This is the best meat-like product I’ve had!
Now, I’m catching up on some HBO Newsroom and relaxing. Hopefully, you take some you time also!
