I began triathlon training and let me tell you it is no joke. Last week I did 6 workouts, which is crazy for me since before I thought 3 was a lot.
However, I have found that the additional workouts make me so much more productive in my day to day life. I’m happier, I’m more focused, and I’m beginning to feel like my life has meaning. I’m doing so much more and that makes for a happier Kim, which is a good think!
I don’t wake up in the morning and just want to sit on the couch and watch tv. I also don’t come home at night and just want to sit on the couch and watch tv. Do you see where this could be a problem? I’ve started finding things for me to tackle, like making sure the husband and I both eat a good breakfast in the morning (Mickey Waffles this morning, YUM).
I am also working on my favorite project at work right now! My Tails & Trails Endurance Series, it consists of 2- 5K’s, and 1- 10 mile bike ride. We are also trying to add another 5K in there but nothing yet. It is really exciting to be working on a project that combines two things I love, Running and Animals.
So, please forgive the sporadic blogging. Between Triathlon training and work (finally being ok) it is just all consuming!!
